Roles and reflection themes

To develop the scientific strategy of the AFLD and to select research projects to be conducted by his lab, COS includes three working groups whose mission is to explore the potential of new molecules and methods around themes:

  • Biomechanics ;
  • Pharmacology and myogenesis ;
  • Muscle metabolism.

COS may also consider projects proposed by other laboratories in the specific field of doping, validate and possibly promote them to leading research laboratories of national or international organizations that may contribute to their financing ( including the World Anti-Doping Agency or the European Commission ).
